ALTOONA, Pa. - It is the most coveted of all UniFirst Corporation recognitions. And out of the thousands of UniFirst route sales representatives (RSRs) in the U.S and Canada, Nanty Glo resident Ross Williamson is one of only ten who have earned this distinction for 2014. Named after UniFirst's founder, the Aldo Croatti Award is presented to those RSRs who exemplify unparalleled customer service and satisfaction while retaining 100% of their customers for an entire fiscal year.
Williamson, who works for UniFirst at its Altoona location, delivers work uniforms and facility service products to 95 businesses on a weekly basis throughout the greater Altoona area. He has been with UniFirst for 16 years.
Headquartered in Wilmington, Mass., UniFirst Corporation (NYSE: UNF) is a leading provider of customized work uniform programs, corporate attire, and facility service products to businesses throughout the U.S. and Canada. Together with its subsidiaries, UniFirst also provides first aid and safety products, and manages protective garment programs for the cleanroom and nuclear industries.
"Ross has an unequaled commitment to detail and concern for quality service," says UniFirst district service manager Craig Shetler. "It is because of these qualities that we consider him to be our finest RSR."
Williamson, who resides in Nanty Glo, attributed winning the award to being organized and focusing on his relationship with his customers. "It's not enough to do one or the other. You have to be organized to handle the number of customers I work with every week. But it takes extra focus and commitment to provide them with the quality service we pride ourselves on here and that they have come to expect. I truly appreciate the recognition UniFirst has given me for all my efforts."
As part of his award, Williamson will receive an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the Four Seasons Resort in Maui, Hawaii, in December, where he will be personally recognized by UniFirst president and CEO Ron Croatti and other company executives.
