WILMINGTON, Mass. () – The No. 24 UniFirst Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by 20-year-old rookie of the year contender William Byron, will make its final appearance of the 2018 NASCAR season this Sunday, Oct. 21, in Kansas City, Kansas. The 400.5-mile, 267-lap race begins at 2 p.m. EDT and will be nationally televised on NBC.

He is coming off winning the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship and rookie of the year honors in 2017 – a season that included wins at Iowa, ISM Raceway, and the historic venues of Daytona and Indianapolis, where he became the youngest winner of a major race in the track’s 108-year history.
“I’m looking forward to driving the UniFirst Chevy at Kansas,” Byron said. “It’s a good track – it’s smooth and you can move around a lot. The day race will have more lap-time falloff, so that’ll be fun. Hopefully we can build on some of the mile-and-a-half strength we’ve shown lately and have a good run.”
