UniFirst Teams Up With Andretti Autosport And The No. 98 Indycar Driven By Marco Andretti For Two July Races

WILMINGTON, Mass. () — UniFirst Corporation, a North American leader in providing customized work uniform programs, corporate attire, and facility service products, will be the primary sponsor of Marco Andretti’s No. 98 IndyCar at the upcoming Honda Indy Toronto on Sunday, July 14, at 3 p.m. ET. The race will be televised on NBC Sports Network. Two weeks later, the team will head to Lexington, Ohio, on Sunday, July 28, for the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, which begins at 4:30 p.m. ET and televised on NBC at 4 p.m. ET.

“It’s fantastic to have UniFirst as primary sponsor at Toronto and Mid-Ohio this year,” says Andretti Autosport® CEO Michael Andretti. “We’ve been partners for over 10 years now and have built a great relationship with their team. UniFirst outfits our employees at the shop with great-looking, high-quality uniforms each week, which is extremely important in our line of work. They are always great to work with and truly care about their customers and partners. It’s extremely nice to have partners like UniFirst who are eager to continue building upon the already great partnership we’ve created.”

UniFirst, the official shop uniform supplier for Andretti Autosport, recently signed a new multi-year sponsorship extension, continuing its long-running partnership with the championship-winning team.

The contemporary No. 98 car design features UniFirst’s branded green colors, along with the company’s corporate logos. “The dynamic design for the UniFirst-branded No. 98 IndyCar looks amazing and we can’t wait to show it off in Toronto and Ohio with Marco Andretti behind the wheel,” says Michael Croatti, senior vice president at UniFirst. “And we’re thrilled to be continuing our long-standing partnership with Andretti Autosport, both on and off the track.”

The UniFirst and Andretti Autosport partnership complements UniFirst’s partnership with Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 24 Chevy Camaro ZL1, driven by NASCAR 2018 Cup rookie of the year and 2019 DAYTONA 500 pole winner William Byron. In 2016, UniFirst and Hendrick Motorsports announced an eight-year partnership that runs through the 2023 NASCAR season. UniFirst is the official workwear provider of Hendrick Motorsports, supplying work clothing and uniforms to the team and its sister company, Hendrick Automotive Group.
