Meet our executive management team
Steven S. Sintros
President and CEO
Mr. Sintros, UniFirst President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), joined the Company in 2004, first serving as Finance Manager and Corporate Controller, then Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) before being promoted to his current position in 2017. Prior to joining UniFirst, Mr. Sintros worked as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young and at Arthur Andersen before that.
Cynthia Croatti
Special Consultant and Advisor to the CEO and the Senior Leadership of the Company
After nearly 42 years of service to UniFirst in various roles, Ms. Croatti remains actively involved as a Special Consultant and Advisor to the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team. Ms. Croatti joined UniFirst Corporation in 1980 as the Assistant Treasurer and served as Treasurer since 1982. She became a Director in 1995 and was named the Company's Executive Vice President in 2001 with primary responsibility for overseeing the human resources and purchasing functions. Most recently her primary focus has been on advancing key initiatives aimed at enhancing the Company’s culture, branding, and long-term strategy.
Shane F. O'Connor
Executive Vice President and CFO
Mr. O'Connor is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for UniFirst Corporation, having accepted the position in 2018. He had been with the Company from 2005 to 2016, serving as UniFirst's Finance Manager and then Corporate Controller, before leaving for a year to become the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Unidine Corporation, a national dining management services organization. Prior to joining UniFirst in 2005, Mr. O'Connor worked as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. He is responsible for all financial functions of UniFirst, as well as its Information Systems department.
David A. DiFillippo
Executive Vice President, Operations
Mr. DiFillippo became Executive Vice President of Operations for UniFirst Corporation in 2002. He joined the Company in 1979, starting out as a Service Manager, was promoted to General Manager in 1984, and to Regional Vice President for the Central Region in 1986. Mr. DiFillippo oversees specified laundry regions in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Product Management.
Michael A. Croatti
Executive Vice President, Operations
Mr. Croatti became Executive Vice President of Operations for UniFirst Corporation in 2012. He joined the Company in 1987 and was mentored by his father, UniFirst Chairman, President, and CEO Ronald Croatti. He held many positions in production, service, and sales before being promoted to Branch Manager in 1995, General Manager in 1998, and Regional Vice President in 2002. Mr. Croatti oversees specified laundry regions in the U.S.
Bill M. Ross
Executive Vice President, Operations
Mr. Ross became Executive Vice President of Operations for UniFirst Corporation in 2016. He joined the company in 1990 and held several sales and operations management positions before being promoted to Regional Vice President in 2002. Mr. Ross oversees specified laundry regions in the East, Midwest, and Southeast U.S., as well as the Company's overall Production and Service Operations.
David M. Katz
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Mr. Katz joined UniFirst Corporation as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing in 2009. He has primary responsibility of and oversees the Sales and Marketing functions of the Company. Prior to joining UniFirst, Mr. Katz worked for DHL Express, where he served as the Northeast Vice President of Field Sales, the Northeast Vice President of National Account Sales, and Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Northeast Region.
