WILMINGTON, MA – UniFirst has been named to Forbes magazine’s annual “Platinum 400 — Best Big Companies.” UniFirst earned the elite ranking for overall company management and financial performance that places the company above their competition.
Companies selected for “Platinum 400” listing had to qualify by having at least $1 billion in revenue and maintain specified financial quality benchmarks. UniFirst was judged on five-year and 12-month sales and earnings growth, total return to shareholders, as well as innovation, efficiency, and market leadership.
The Forbes ranking system included consensus forecasts for long-term earnings growth and debt-to-capital ratios. Selected companies, like UniFirst, were also judged on their “Audit Integrity.”
“Speaking for the entire management team, we feel it’s an honor to be recognized by such a renowned business publication for our financial achievement and growth,” said Ron Croatti, UniFirst President and CEO. “This is further evidence of the dedication and commitment shown by our employee Team Partners, as well as the solid relationships we’ve developed with our customers.”
Forbes contracted with an independent research and rating service to help evaluate companies for the list.
