How much do uniforms cost?
Businesses can expect to pay, on average, about $4-$15 per wearer per week for uniform rental. Implementing a uniform rental program can represent significant cost savings for businesses and their employees because they will no longer have to spend money on laundering and maintaining their own work apparel. They simply leave their soiled garments behind for UniFirst to pick up, clean, maintain, and/or replace. Bottom line, your uniform rental cost is significantly lower than buying and maintaining your own uniforms.

What types of garments can I rent?
With UniFirst, you can rent all types of men’s and women’s work clothes for all types of industries, including work shirts and uniform shirts, work pants and uniform pants, work jeans, cargo work pants, work shorts, coveralls, work jackets and more. Whether you are seeking a chef uniform, chef apron, chef pants, chef coat, or a chef jacket for the food industry; mechanic shirts and flame resistant clothing for the automotive industry; or a high visibility work shirt for contracting and trades, we have what your business needs to help your teams stay complaint and productive.
How do you ensure all wearers have the right sized uniforms?
Your UniFirst representative will measure each uniform wearer to ensure a proper fit. We recognize that not every employee remains the same size over time, so we provide uniform size exchanges whenever necessary. We also realize women’s workwear should be designed differently than men’s. For example, we don’t expect our work pants for men and work shirts for men to fit the same way on women. Therefore, we carry a large selection of work clothes for women, including women’s work pants that are cut differently than men’s work pants to assure a perfect fit. A uniform that looks good has to fit right and we make sure ours do.
If I notice a needed repair, can I assume it'll be taken care of by your Automatic Mend System?
UniFirst's automatic mend system provides for a comprehensive, 10-point inspection of every garment each time it's processed. This ensures 97% of all needed repairs are taken care of before you have to ask. From chef aprons and chef jackets to men’s cargo work pants and everything in between, we inspect every garment whenever they are processed. This preemptive inspection process is also backed up by our wearer communications system, which provides your business with a continuous supply of repair request tags, so any special garment needs can be flagged for our immediate attention.
